General Data Protection Regulation
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a comprehensive UK and European privacy law that takes effect on May 25, 2018. CDC welcomes this law as a vital step forward in streamlining data protection requirements across the European Union and as an opportunity for CDC to deepen our commitment to data protection.
Similar to existing privacy laws, compliance with the GDPR requires a partnership between CDC, our clients and partners in their use of our services. We are committed to complying with the GDPR in the delivery of our service to our partners and clients. We are also dedicated to helping our partners and clients comply with the GDPR. We have closely analysed the requirements of the GDPR and are working to make enhancements to our contracts and documentation with our software vendor, hosting and servicing provider to support our dedication to comply with the GDPR.
